Original Wehrpass of Unteroffizier Alfred Treptau, who flew in the Nachtjagdschule 1, Kampffliegerschule 2 before he ended up in the Kampfgeschwader 4 “General Wever”. During his service, he earned the Flugzeugführer-Abzeichen, Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse and the Frontflugspange in Bronze. Most interestingly, he flew a defensive action flight during the Dieppe Raid on August 18, 1942 (“Einsatz zur Abwehr der feindlichen Landungsaktion in Dieppe”!). Complete with photograph.
