Original Waffen-SS Wehrpass of SS-Sturmmann Richard Martin (?). During his service, he served with the 16. Kompanie/ SS-Infanterie-Regiment 4 and the 3. Kompanie, Stab and 2. Kompanie/ SS-Panzer-Pionier-Bataillon 2 “Das Reich” of the 2. SS-Panzer-Division “Das Reich”. He earned the Allgemeines-Sturmabzeichen on September 10, 1943. He met his fate on October 24, 1943 when he was Killed in Action. Several entries were signed by Heinrich Schmelzer, who earned the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub and Nahkampfspange in Gold! It’s a Zweitschrift (second issue) opened in 1942.
