Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Kurt Steidl. Hauptmann Kurt Steidl (23.03.1919 in Knoppen † 05.08.2004 in Rettenegg) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on January 26, 1944 as Oberleutnant und Führer of the I. Bataillon/ Jäger-Regiment 2 “Brandenburg” of the Division “Brandenburg”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
