Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Max Herzbach. Major Max Herzbach (17.01.1914 † 02.05.2002) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on July 23, 1944 as Hauptmann und Chef of the 7. Kompanie/ Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 7 and the Ritterkreuz on September 13, 1944 as Hauptmann und Chef of the 7. Kompanie/ Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 7 of the 2. Fallschirmjäger-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
