Generalfeldmarschall Maximillian von Weichs (12.11.1881 † 27.09.1954) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on June 29, 1940 as General der Kavallerie und Oberbefehlshaber of the 2. Armee and the Eichenlaub on February 5, 1945 as Generalfeldmarschall of Oberbefehlshaber Südost. Good condition.
Fell out of Hitler’s grace after suggesting to retreat from Stalingrad
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
