Original Award document for the Mutterkreuz in Bronze (Mother’s Cross in Bronze) or in full the Dritte Stufe des Ehrenkreuzes der Deutschen Mutter (Third Class of the Cross of Honour of the German Mother). The Mother’s Cross was instituted to award mother’s for their exhibited probity, exemplary motherhood and who raised at least 4 children. The Cross came in 3 grades: Bronze (4 or 5 Children), Silver (6-7) and Gold (8 or more) and was awarded from 1939 until 1945. Document is A4 size, bears the facismile signature of Adolf Hitler and Otto Meissner. Has been folded in the past.
