Leutnant Rene Dollwet (22.10.1922 in Mettlach † 15.12.1983 in Alicante, Spain) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 29, 1944 as Leutnant und Führer of the 2. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 485 of the 263. Infanterie-Division. Size: 7,4×10,5cm, signed on the reverse.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
