Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Richard Czekay. Hauptmann Richard Czekay (26.03.1916 † 24.04.2009) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on May 27, 1942 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on December 30, 1942 as Hauptmann und Staffelkapitän of the 3. Staffel/ Sturzkampfgeschwader 2 “Immelmann”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
