Generalleutnant Rudolf Sperl (11.10.1898 in Allenstein † 23.10.1981 in Bad Rappenau) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on April 16, 1943 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 10, 1945 as Generalleutnant und Kommandeur of the 61. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
