Russian Kolpak 20 Helmet from the Russo-Ukraine War (Shot through, from Bakhmut)
€0,01
This helmet was previously sold at a Polish Charity Auction to raise funds for Ukraine and was captured by the Kholodnyy Yar 93 Brigade in August 2022 near Bakhmut. I’m now offering this for sale (using the pictures of the auction house, as they are much better then I can make). The description comes from the previously sold auction. This helmet comes with a Certificate-of-Authenticity from this Polish Auction house.
“Steel helmet, whose bell was designed during the Second World War, “modernized” in 2022. Bell of the helmet – wz.40, fascicle and bolster now added by a Russian company. Description from the fascicle – Collar 20, class 2 according to the Russian classification, year of production (Modernization): January 2022.
On the fascicle is written Isaj; shot through the back, from the back, biological traces on the bullet entry site.
Although the faceplate, bolster and overall quality of this modification looks like it was done on his own by one of the Russian army’s conscript soldiers, it is mass-produced from Soviet ssz40 steel helmets by the civilian company “NPO Spezmaterjaly” in St. Petersburg. It is purchased by Russian soldiers privately at a price comparable to that of modern helmets, while not giving even approximate protection against shrapnel and bullets.
The inadequate level of protection was witnessed by the previous owner of the helmet in the failed Russian assault on the town of Bahmut, Donetsk region. Being shot from behind may indicate the owner’s death in an attempt to retreat.
Shipping costs may not be final! Especially overseas. Also note, if overseas, that custom fees may apply.
