SS-Freiwilligen-Sturmbrigade “Langemarck” and SS-Pionier-Bataillon 27 of the 27. SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Division “Langemarck”. Complete with a photo! He earned the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz for his wound suffered on January 9, 1944 (‘Granatsplitter re. Oberarm which he suffered north of Burkwozy, Shitomir. (This info comes from the official Verlustmeldung document found in archives.) and he also earned the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Bronze. He was Killed in Action (or Died) on April 18, 1945!
