Original Soldbuch of Oberschirrmeister (F) Birkenhake. During the war he served with the Stab/ Divisions-Nachschubtruppen 122 and the 1. Fahrschwadron 122 of the 122. Infanterie-Division. He earned the Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42 , Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern and the Armelband Kurland (“Conditions for Kurland Cufftitle are Fulfilled”, written in German for the 11.5.45 award entry). He died in captivity in January 1946 in POW Camp Kolpino. Complete with photograph. Few extra papers. Condition as seen, inner pages are loose from the cover.
