Original Soldbuch of SS-Sturmmann Erich Pollakowski, who served with the SS-Panzer-Pionier-Bataillon 10 of the 10. SS-Panzer-Division “Frundsberg”. The photograph was removed from the Soldbuch. No awards have been entered in the Soldbuch. Most interestingly, the last entry in his Soldbuch is from June 6, 1944 (!) so he most likely fought and was captured during the Battle of Normandy and, or during Operation Market Garden. Since there are no later entries.
