Hauptmann Theodor Hopf (23.09.1918 † 23.01.2008) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 21, 1941 as Oberleutnant und Kompaniechef of the 1. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 170 of the 73. Infanterie-Division and the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on October 16, 1942 as Hauptmann with the III. Bataillon/ Infanterie-Regiment 170. Size: 6,7×10,3cm.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
