Original tragic set of SS-Rottenführer Johann “Hans” Michl from the SS-Regiment “Deutschland”. The set consists of his Wehrpass, Death Cards, Newspaper Articles related to his deathpage of a SS Newspaper, several photographs, honor certificate of gifting the Wehrpass to the family and his DRL I.D. He was an early volunteer of the Waffen-SS, joining in 1939! He was also KIA early in the war in November 1941. He previously fought in Holland, Belgium, France and the Balkan before losing his live in the Soviet-Union. SS-Rottenführer was a Kradmelder in the 14. Kompanie/ SS-Regiment “Deutschland” and earned the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen (although not noted in the Wehrpass but it’s noted in the newspaper article and his death card as well). Interesting battle calender! Wehrpass is complete. Everything is in good condition.
