Original Postwar Signature on a Wartime Postcard of Traugott Herr. General der Panzertruppe Traugott Herr (16.09.1890 † 13.04.1976) earned the Ritterkreuz on October 2, 1941 as Oberst und Kommandeur of the 13. Panzer-Division, the Eichenlaub on August 9, 1942 as Generalmajor und Kommandeur of the 13. Panzer-Division and the Schwertern on December 18, 1944 as General der Panzertruppe und Kommandierender General of the LXXVI. Panzerkorps. Good condition. Edges have been cut. Dedicated to the W-SS on the reverse.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
