Hauptmann der Reserve Walter Stracke (19.05.1914 † 31.10.1989) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on November 29, 1941 and the Ritterkreuz on November 21, 1942 as Oberleutnant und Kompaniechef of the 2. Kompanie/ Kradschützen-Bataillon 53 of the 3. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
