Wehrmacht-Dienstauszeichnung 4. Klasse für 4 Jahre – Mounted (Einzelspange)

Original Wehrmacht-Dienstauszeichnung 4. Klasse (4-Year Long Service Award) mounted as an Einzelspange (single medal bar), complete with its blue ribbon and silver-coloured Wehrmacht eagle attachment.

The medal features the Wehrmacht eagle and the inscription Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht (Faithful Service in the Wehrmacht). The award was instituted to recognise long service in the German armed forces.

The medal is mounted on its original-style blue ribbon bar, with the eagle positioned above the medal.

Condition: Shows age-related wear, surface marks and oxidation. The blue ribbon has visible handling wear and some fraying around the mounting area. The reverse mounting hardware is present.

An interesting mounted Wehrmacht long-service award (Einzelspange) for collectors of German military decorations from the Second World War.
