On 5.10.1941, he earned the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1.10.38, on 15.8.40 the Tätigkeitsabzeichen der Flakartillerie and on 10.1.42 the Kampfabzeichen der Flakartillerie. He has an interesting battle calendar for 1940: including battles in Netherlands (Helmond, Weert) and Belgium (Antwerpen, Mechelen, Turnhout, Herentals, Gent…).
