Hauptmann Werner Buxa (16.10.1916 in Memel † 23.03.1998 in Olbronn-Dürrn) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on March 23, 1945 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the I. Bataillon/ Grenadier-Regiment 44 of the 11. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
