Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Werner Streit. Hauptmann Werner Streit (10.02.1918 † 05.03.1993) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on November 24, 1942 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 14, 1943 as Hauptmann und Chef of the 5. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 51 of the 18. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
