Oberleutnant Wilhelm Bromen (26.08.1915 in Dülmen † 01.10.1990 in Innsbruck) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on November 17, 1942 as Oberfeldwebel in the 6. Staffel/ Sturzkampfgeschwader 2 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 16, 1943 as Leutnant und Flugzeugführer in the 4. Staffel/ Sturzkampfgeschwader 2 “Immelmann”.

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
