Generalmajor Wilhelm Nagel (12.06.1898 in Tübingen † 23.04.1980 in Zell im Wiesental) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on January 29, 1943 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on June 12, 1944 as Oberst und Kommandeur of the Grenadier-Regiment 131 of the 44. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
