Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Wilhelm Söth. Generalmajor Wilhelm Söth (15.02.1903 in Wilster-Izehoe † 06.07.1978 in Hamburg) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on November 28, 1940 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Abteilung/ Artillerie-Regiment 56 and the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on May 27, 1942 with the Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 73 of the 1. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
