Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Willi Schmückle. Leutnant Willi Schmückle (24.10.1921 † 24.09.1988) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on March 15, 1945 as Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel in the 6. Kompanie/ Fahnenjunker-Regiment 1241 of the Panzergrenadier-Division “Kurmark”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
