Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Willi Unger. Leutnant Willi Unger (27.03.1920 † 23.06.2005) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold in August 1944 with the 12. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 3 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on October 23, 1944 as Fahnenjunker-Feldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the IV. Gruppe/ Jagdgeschwader 3 “Udet”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
