Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Willi Wechsung. Oberleutnant Willi Wechsung (29.12.1913 in Lockhausen † 22.03.2001 in Osnabrück) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on June 26, 1942 with Infanterie-Regiment 426 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on October 1, 1943 as Oberleutnant und Chef of the 1. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 426 of the 126. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
