Original Postwar Signature on a Wartime Postcard of Wolfgang Darius. Major Wolfgang Darius (02.04.1911 in Blankenhain † 18.11.2000 in Bonn) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on August 22, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the Panzerjäger-Abteilung 21 of the 20. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
