Original German Wound Badge in Black (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz), manufactured by Carl Wild of Hamburg and maker marked “107” on the reverse.
This example is constructed in blackened Buntmetall, a desirable construction variant of the 1939 pattern Wound Badge. The “107” maker mark clearly identifies production by Carl Wild, Hamburg.
An excellent addition for collectors specializing in German World War II decorations and manufacturer-marked Verwundetenabzeichen.
