Original German Wound Badge in Black (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz), produced in iron (Eisen) and remaining unmarked. Possible attributed to Adolf Besson?
A classic wartime example of the 1939-pattern Wound Badge, featuring the characteristic blackened iron construction and original period pin-back assembly.
The badge is offered in condition as shown, with natural signs of age and wear consistent with an original wartime example.
