Original German Wound Badge in Silver (Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber), maker marked L/22 on the reverse, indicating Glaser & Sohn, Dresden.
This is the second pattern Wound Badge in silver, produced in silvered zinc and fitted with its original period hardware. The clearly visible L/22 maker marking makes this a desirable example for collectors who specialize in manufacturer variations of the Verwundetenabzeichen.
Glaser & Sohn examples marked L/22 are well documented, with specialist dealers specifically identifying the marking with the Dresden manufacturer.
