Original Japanese Wound Badge (Model 1938, Kosho) with matching wooden case.. Kosho means this type of wound badge was awarded for a wound suffered in the Public Service (non-combat) (given to soldiers that contracted a disease, were poisoned or injured in an accident)! Overall good condition. There’s a small chip damage on the bottom shield.
