Desirable and uncommon peaked cap in overall very good condition. Complete with liner, sweat diamand and its original aluminium insignia. Maker logo in the sweat diamond with BMF (Bayerische Mutzen-Fabrik). No visible size but it’s not small or large, so approx. medium. Condition as seen.
Wehrmacht Medical Officer Peaked Cap by Peküro (Name & Unit!)
€0,01Original beautiful ‘saddle’ shape Wehrmacht Sanitäts (Medical) Schirmmütze (Peaked Cap) for an Arzt (Doctor). The cap features a dark blue piping (branch color for medical personnel) and is in worn condition. There’s some minor damages from moth damage and usage, and on the left side a few stitches are loose from the visor (as photographed). Complete with its original insignia, diamond shield in the inner with visible maker mark from Peküro and his initials B.K. The cap is also named to a “Dr. Karp” (or Korp..) with Feldpostnummer “32009A”, which belonged to the Artillerie-Regiment 34. Lovely cap! Condition as seen.
Silver Mug Gift from Rudolf Hess to one of his Godchilds (!)
€0,01Original silver mug that was a gift from Rudolf Hess to a “Patenkind” of his. The inscription reads “Meinen Patenkind – Rudolf Konstantin Weiss – zum 10. Dezember 1935″. Patenkind can be translated as Godchild. I’ve seen another sell years ago from Hitler, as he took the (Ehren)”Patenschaft” of a young boy whos father was an SA member that lost his life in the early 1930’s. Bottom is marked with 835S (for the silver quality) and two logo maker marks. Weighting 115 gr. Height is 11cm x 8 cm diameter (top). Incredible historical piece!

Otto Günsche – Adolf Hitler’s Personal Adjutant (WIA 20 July Plot, Führerbunker)
€0,01Original Postwar Signature on a Letter of Otto Günsche. Otto Günsche (24.09.1917 † 02.10.2003) earned the Verwundetenabzeichen “20. Juli 1944” in Schwarz and was a member of the Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler before he became Adolf Hitler’s personal adjutant.
With the end of Nazi Germany imminent, Günsche was tasked by Hitler on 30 April 1945 with ensuring the cremation of his body after his death. That afternoon, he stood guard outside the room in the Führerbunker where Hitler and Eva Braun committed suicide. After waiting a short time, Hitler’s valet, Heinz Linge, opened the study door with Martin Bormann at his side. The two men entered the study with Günsche right behind them. Günsche then left the study and announced that Hitler was dead to a group in the briefing room, which included Joseph Goebbels, General Hans Krebs, and General Wilhelm Burgdorf. Günsche had the table and chairs in the study moved out of the way and blankets were laid out on the floor. Hitler and Braun’s lifeless bodies were then wrapped in blankets. In accordance with Hitler’s prior written and verbal instructions, his and Braun’s bodies were carried up the stairs and through the bunker’s emergency exit to the garden behind the Reich Chancellery to be burned. Having ensured that the corpses were burnt using petrol supplied by Hitler’s chauffeur Erich Kempka, Günsche later left the Führerbunker after midnight on 1 May. On 2 May 1945, Günsche was taken prisoner by Soviet Red Army troops that were encircling the city and flown to Moscow for sharp interrogation by the NKVD.

On 6 June 1944 (D-Day), Priller, accompanied by his wingman made a single strafing pass attack on Sword Beach in their Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8s. This act was first brought to the world’s attention by the book, then the film, The Longest Day. Contrary to popular belief, Priller and his wingman (Feldwebel Heinz Wodarczyk) were not the only Luftwaffe forces to attack the beachhead that day. Both Luftwaffe Hauptmann (Captain) Helmut Eberspächer, leading a ground-attack four-plane element of Fw 190s of Schnellkampfgeschwader 10, which downed a quartet of RAF Avro Lancasters at 05:00 over the invasion area, and the Luftwaffe bomber wing Kampfgeschwader 54 made several attacks on the British beachheads on D-Day.
