Original document group of Oberleutnant Egon von Ploetz, who in 1937 served with the Reiter-Regiment 4. If I searched correctly, he eventually became a Rittmeister (Hauptmann). The large promotion document is signed by Reichskriegsminister Werner Freiherr von Fritsch! Comes with 3 documents (with signature of von Fritsch), a large portrait (printed signature) and a press photograph.
Thomas Ludwig Werner Freiherr von Fritsch (4 August 1880 – 22 September 1939) was a German Generaloberst (full general) who served as Commander-in-Chief of the German Army from February 1934 until February 1938, when he was forced to resign after he was falsely accused of being homosexual. His and War Minister Blomberg's ousting, in the Blomberg-Fritsch affair, was a major step in Adolf Hitler's establishment of tighter control over the armed forces. Just over a year later, before the outbreak of World War II, Fritsch was recalled as Colonel-in-chief of the 12th Artillery Regiment. He died in battle in Poland early in the war, the second German general to perish in that conflict after Wilhelm Fritz von Roettig.

Klasse (Iron Cross 1st Class) for his service on January 23, 1944, which was signed by Generalleutnant Vollrath Lübbe (RK). Most interestingly, the 3. Batterie was the Hummel battery! Unteroffizier Heinrich Nießen was born on June 12, 1916 in Neuwerk and died after being severely wounded on October 30, 1943 around 0130 hours due mult. Granatsplitterverletzung Oberschenkel. His EKM was -180- 3.A.R.74. He earned the EK2 (20.10.41) and EK1 (23.1.44).
Original Award document of Unteroffizier Alex Orf (21.4.1915 in Nordheim), who earned the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (Wound Badge in Black) for his wound sustained on November 28, 1941 while serving with the Schützen-Regiment 304 of the 2. Sperrfeuer-Batterie, Heeres-Flak-Artillerie-Abteilung 301 & 296 and Festungs-Batterie 1156. He was decorated with the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse, Eisernes Kreuz 2. & 1. Klasse (1914), Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938 and at the end of the war with the Spange zum Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse and 1. Klasse!
Most interestingly, he was quipped with the MP40 with Pouches & 3 Magazines!

This set came from the family! This set deserves much research.
Original set of Unteroffizier Siewertsen who during the war served with the Panzer-Pionier-Bataillon 32 of the 12. Panzer-Division and ended up with the Panzer-Pionier-Bataillon 1233 of the 233. Panzer-Division. After the war ended, he kept on serving with the Minenraumkommando Danmark to clear up mines that stayed behind on the Danish coast. Their story is told in the movie Land of Mine (Under Sandet)! The set includes:

Original TOP award document set of Obergefreiter Liebetreu who served with one of the most famous units of Stalingrad! Obergefreiter Liebetreu served with the 6. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 577 of the 305. Infanterie-Division which was photographed during the fightings at Barrikady Gun Factory in October 1942 - I'll attach some images (not included only for illustraton). Condition as seen.

The award document for the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen was signed on October 31, 1942 during the severe fightings and survived the pocket (perhaps send out before the encirclement). Document was signed by the regimental commander Brandt who was awarded the Ritterkreuz in Stalingrad but didn't survive and was KIA in January 1943 in Stalingrad!
Original Luftwaffe (Air Force) award document set of Ehrenpokal (Honor Goblet) Recipient Oberfeldwebel Willy Kuhn who served with the Küstenfliegergruppe 806 (later renamed to Kampfgruppe 806) and later became part of the Kampfgeschwader 54. He flew missions on the Western Front against the France and United Kingdom and later on the Eastern Front. Later on he even took part in North-Africa and Italy before being moved back to Germany. Most notably, on June 6, 1944 Kuhn's Junker Ju-88 was shot downover Lion-sur-Mer during bombing the Allied Invasion Fleet. He was first reported as Killed in Action however he was the sole survivor! He ended the war as a British POW.
Also interestingly, Kuhn earned BOTH the Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in Gold and the Frontflugspange für Transportflieger in Gold! Normally, you only would earn one of the two! He was decorated with the Ehrenpokal, but this document is not within the group. Excellent grouping with lots of research potential.

Bruno Bräuer served as a commander on Crete and then commanded the 9. Fallschirmjäger-Division. After the war, he was convicted of war crimes and executed, along with Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller, on the anniversary of the German invasion of Crete.

Original estate of Dr. Wilhelm Dieckvoss, who served with the Deutsches Afrikakorps! The group exist most importantly of his Soldbuch, 2x Award Documents (one handsigned by Erwin Rommel!), plenty of wartime photographs, large portion of prewar and postwar photographs, documents, ID's and more...
During the war while serving with the DAK, he served with the Astro. Messtrupp 722 and the Beobachtungs-Abteilung Afrika. Soldbuch is complete (very rare for a DAK SB) without photo (never was one in).
