Original WWII German award certificate (Verleihungsurkunde) for the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern (War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords), awarded to Obergefreiter Willi Pillmeier, serving with 5./ Artillerie-Regiment 13 of the 13. Panzer-Division.

The certificate is dated Krinitschki, 15 September 1941, and bears the handwritten signature of a Generalmajor and Divisionskommandeur (Major General and Division Commander). The signature appears to read Walther Düvert, but the name requires confirmation before being stated definitively.

An official circular service seal (Dienstsiegel) is present at the lower left. The document retains its original typewritten recipient and unit details, period Gothic lettering and handwritten signature.

This is an original German military award document from 1941, associated with an artillery unit operating during the early phase of the German-Soviet war.

Condition: Prominent horizontal fold across the centre, additional creasing and wrinkling throughout, age-related discoloration and minor spotting. The circular seal is faint, but the blue handwritten signature remains clearly visible. Please examine the photographs for the precise condition.
