SS-Hauptscharführer Hans Siptrott (25.07.1919 † 16.01.2014) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on December 30, 1944 as SS-Oberscharführer with the 7. Kompanie/ SS-Panzer-Regiment 1 of the 1. SS-Panzer-Division “LSSAH”. He also earned the Panzerkampfabzeichen III. Stufe (Einsatzzahl “50”). Siptrott is most known as one of the key figures of the Malmedy Massacre, as his gunner SS-Sturmmann Georg Fleps suddenly fired rounds with his pistol into the group of prisoners. Good condition.
