During World War II, Buchner logged 631 combat missions, of which 215 on the Messerschmitt Bf 109E, 396 on the Focke-Wulf Fw 190, and 20 on the Messerschmitt Me 262. He was shot down five times, including two bail outs with a parachute, and was wounded twice. Buchner was credited with 58 aerial victories—46 on the Eastern Front and 12 flying the Me 262 in Defence of the Reich. Krupp-Germaniawerft Aktiengesellschaft Kiel-Gaarden issued 24 postcards of Kriegsmarine Knight’s Cross Holders. On the front, a facismile signature of the KC-Holder was added. A special booklet was also issued to glue in the postcards.

€20,00Photo Postcard of Bildarchiv Krupp-Germaniawerft Kiel (Nr. 4/24) of Knight’s Cross Holder Rolf Mützelburg, who earned the Ritterkreuz on November 17, 1941 as Kapitänleutnant and Kommandant of U-203 and the Eichenlaub on July 15, 1942 as Kapitänleutnant and Kommandant of U-203. He also earned the U-boot Kriegsabzeichen mit Brillianten. Rolf Mützelburg died as a result of an accident at sea on September 11, 1942. On his eight patrols in the Atlantic, the US east coast, and the Caribbean Sea, he sank 19 ships for a total of 81,961 gross register tons (GRT), and damaged three more (17,052 GRT). Good condition. Postcardsize.

Kompanie/ Panzerjäger-Abteilung 33 and the Eichenlaub on March 6, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kompaniechef of the 2. Kompanie/ Panzerjäger-Abteilung 33 of the 15. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.

SS-Panzer-Division “LSSAH” and the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on August 25, 1944 with the 3. Kompanie/ SS-Panzer-Regiment 12 of the 12. SS-Panzer-Division “Hitlerjugend”. Good condition.
Death Card: Panzer-Abteilung 301 “Funklenk” !
€30,00Original death card of Obergefreiter Franz Grillmeier, who was Killed in Action on December 1, 1942 while serving with Panzer-Abteilung 301 “Funklenk”!
The Panzer-Abteilung (Fkl) 301 was formed on 9 September 1942 by the redesignation of Panzer-Abteilung (FL) 300. It was transferred to Heeresgruppe Nord where it remained until December when it withdrew for refitting. It later saw action at Kursk. In January 1944 it was sent to Italy. After leaving France in August 1944 it was ordered to reorganize with Tiger I tanks, it was issues a total of 31 rebuilt Tiger I tanks, including 10 from schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 103. It took part in the Ardennes offensive. On 16 April it had withdrawn to Sprockhövel where it blew up its last three Tiger tanks.
The “(Fkl)” in the name was for “Funklenk”, a reference to the radio-controlled demolition vehicles used. (Source: Axishistory)
