He was Killed in Action at Le Mesnil-Rouxelin which is north of Saint-Lô. Today, he lies buried at the German War Cemetery in La Cambe. Comes with his Führerschein, newspaper outcut and death letter.

KIA Soldbuch 1945 – Artillerie-Regiment 962 (V2!)
€0,01Original Soldbuch, Letters of W-SS Doctor of the “Nordland” Division and Arbeitsbuch of Sonderführer (G) Kossak who served with the Wirtschafts-Inspektion Mitte, Wirtschaftskommando Bobruisk and Artillerie-Abteilung 953 before ending up with Artillerie-Abteilung 962 (mot.). The latter is an interesting artillery unit as, according to some sources, they launched the V1-rocket and the V2! He had a relative “safer” career when serving with the Wirtschafts units, however once deployed at the front, his fate would eventually catch up with him. When on March 2, 1945, Sdf. Kossak became severely wounded by shrapnel throughout most of his body. They brought him to the SS-Feldlazarett 11 of the “Nordland” Division but no help could bring him back to the living. He was buried in Freienwalde (Pommern). During his service, he was decorated with the Ostmedaille and KVK2.

Soviet Order of the Red Star (Serial Numbered & Researched!)
€0,01Original Soviet Order of the Red Star. The order was produced by Moscow Mint and has on the reverse serial number 2.289.372. Comes with its original backplate and the red enamel is completely intact. Condition as seen.
Via this serial number, it was researched, that this particular Order of the Red Star was awarded to Lieutenant-Colonel in the anti-aircraft branches Pyotr Dorofeevich Yakovenko on the April 30, 1947 for actions during World War 2. The order was awarded to him for the fact that he was separated from his units, he organized the defense of the battery, the easel machine gun was suppressed and disabled up to the enemy company. Covering advancing troops when the enemy planes dived on the battery, Comrade Yakovenko inspired the soldiers to feat by his personal example. As a result, under his skillful leadership, 4 enemy aircraft were shot down. Loyal to the Lenin-Stalin party. Worthy of being awarded the Order of the Red Star. The order comes with a lot of digital research on Lieutenant-Colonel Yakovenko, his career and awards, which will be provided to the buyer.
Lieutenant-Colonel Yakovenko was highly decorated and received the following awards:

€0,01The Taisho Enthronement Commemorative Medal was created to celebrate the ascension of the Taisho Emperor to the throne, who did so upon the death of his father in 1912. The enthronement ceremonies, however, were held in 1915. The medal was issued to people throughout the country who participated in the celebration ceremonies. It was issued in a men’s and a women’s version. The word “Banzai” is written in the two banners on the medal.

The Victory Medal was a commemorative military medal of Japan awarded to mark service during the First World War. Established by Imperial Edict #406 on 17 September 1920, it was one of the series of Victory Medals created and awarded by the victorious allies after the First World War. Fifteen nations in all issued a version of the medal. All shared the rainbow suspension and service ribbon, but the medals’ designs varied by country. Japan’s design was different from all other versions as it did not depict the goddess Victory. This figure from Roman mythology would have no connection to Japanese culture, so a depiction of Takemikazuchi, the war god in Japanese mythology occupies the obverse of the medal.
