1914-1920 Campaign Military Medal of Honor (“Campaign Medal / War Medal”). Japanese participation in World War I was commemorated by a Military Medal of Honor created on November 6, 1915 by Imperial Edict No. 203. However Japan stayed longer in World War I than anticipated as they also took part in the Siberian Intervention. So two very similar medals were issued, one for service in 1914-15 and the other for the period 1914-20. If a person earned both they could only wear the latter. Original medal in overall good condition with matching wooden case with golden lettering.

The Taisho Enthronement Commemorative Medal was created to celebrate the ascension of the Taisho Emperor to the throne, who did so upon the death of his father in 1912. The enthronement ceremonies, however, were held in 1915. The medal was issued to people throughout the country who participated in the celebration ceremonies. It was issued in a men’s and a women’s version. The word "Banzai" is written in the two banners on the medal. Original medal with matching wooden case, with golden lettering, in good condition.

Original Japanese Victory Medal in very good condition with matching wooden case. The Victory Medal was a commemorative military medal of Japan awarded to mark service during the First World War. Established by Imperial Edict #406 on 17 September 1920, it was one of the series of Victory Medals created and awarded by the victorious allies after the First World War. Fifteen nations in all issued a version of the medal. All shared the rainbow suspension and service ribbon, but the medals’ designs varied by country. Japan’s design was different from all other versions as it did not depict the goddess Victory. This figure from Roman mythology would have no connection to Japanese culture, so a depiction of Takemikazuchi, the war god in Japanese mythology occupies the obverse of the medal. The Russo-Japanese War Medal was established on March 31, 1906 by Imperial Edict No. 51 in recognition of those who served in the Russo-Japanese War during the 37th and 38th years of the Meiji period (1904–1905). The Russo-Japanese War was fought between the Russian Empire and the Empire of Japan over rival imperial ambitions in Manchuria and Korea. The major theatres of operations were the Liaodong Peninsula and Mukden in Southern Manchuria and the seas around Korea, Japan and the Yellow Sea. Original medal in overall good condition with matching wooden case with golden lettering. Ribbon is a bit dirty.

The cap features a dark blue piping (branch color for medical personnel) and is in worn condition. There's some minor damages from moth damage and usage, and on the left side a few stitches are loose from the visor (as photographed). Complete with its original insignia, diamond shield in the inner with visible maker mark from Peküro and his initials B.K. The cap is also named to a "Dr. Karp" (or Korp..) with Feldpostnummer "32009A", which belonged to the Artillerie-Regiment 34. Lovely cap! Condition as seen.

Original silver mug that was a gift from Rudolf Hess to a "Patenkind" of his. The inscription reads "Meinen Patenkind - Rudolf Konstantin Weiss - zum 10. Dezember 1935". Patenkind can be translated as Godchild. I've seen another sell years ago from Hitler, as he took the (Ehren)"Patenschaft" of a young boy whos father was an SA member that lost his life in the early 1930's. Bottom is marked with 835S (for the silver quality) and two logo maker marks. Weighting 115 gr. Height is 11cm x 8 cm diameter (top). Incredible historical piece! Tip: If you buy it, don't clean the silver!

Original Postwar Signature on a Letter of Otto Günsche. Otto Günsche (24.09.1917 † 02.10.2003) earned the Verwundetenabzeichen “20. Juli 1944” in Schwarz and was a member of the Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler before he became Adolf Hitler’s personal adjutant. With the end of Nazi Germany imminent, Günsche was tasked by Hitler on 30 April 1945 with ensuring the cremation of his body after his death. That afternoon, he stood guard outside the room in the Führerbunker where Hitler and Eva Braun committed suicide. After waiting a short time, Hitler’s valet, Heinz Linge, opened the study door with Martin Bormann at his side. The two men entered the study with Günsche right behind them. Günsche then left the study and announced that Hitler was dead to a group in the briefing room, which included Joseph Goebbels, General Hans Krebs, and General Wilhelm Burgdorf. Günsche had the table and chairs in the study moved out of the way and blankets were laid out on the floor. Hitler and Braun’s lifeless bodies were then wrapped in blankets. In accordance with Hitler’s prior written and verbal instructions, his and Braun’s bodies were carried up the stairs and through the bunker’s emergency exit to the garden behind the Reich Chancellery to be burned. Having ensured that the corpses were burnt using petrol supplied by Hitler’s chauffeur Erich Kempka, Günsche later left the Führerbunker after midnight on 1 May. On 2 May 1945, Günsche was taken prisoner by Soviet Red Army troops that were encircling the city and flown to Moscow for sharp interrogation by the NKVD.
