"Die Kavallerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 20 wurde am 1. Dezember 1944 in Lüneburg, Wehrkreis X, aufgestellt. Sie wurde aus der Kavallerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 100 als Ersatztruppenteil für die 4. Kavallerie-Division aufgestellt.

This helmet was previously sold at a Polish Charity Auction to raise funds for Ukraine. I'm now offering this for sale (using the pictures of the auction house, as they are much better then I can make). The description comes from the previously sold auction. This helmet comes with a Certificate-of-Authenticity from this Polish Auction house.

The helmet of a Ukrainian soldier from the 112th territorial defense brigade fighting in the defense of the western section of Kiev. Donated by well-known volunteer Yulia Tolmachova.
Western helmets donated by allies and volunteers to Ukrainian forces saved a lot of lives, especially in the first phase of the invasion. A Ukrainian soldier wearing this helmet is believed to have fought defending the western side of the Kiev region, including the Irpin-Bucha-Hostomel section
The helmet was donated by Yulia Tolmachova, a well-known Ukrainian volunteer from Zhytomyr. The woman has been taking part in helping civilians and soldiers since the seizure of Crimea and the revolt in Donbass in 2014. She is known for her efficiency and is a highly respected citizen of Zhytomyr. She established a Veteran's Home there where rehabilitation of maimed soldiers - both physically and mentally - is carried out.
