Original Wehrmacht (Heer) Panzer Officer's Visor Cap ("Schirmmütze") which belonged to Oberstleutnant Max-Theodor Freiherr von Süsskind-Schwendi who most notably commanded the Panzerjäger-Abteilung 38, II. Bataillon/ Panzergrenadier-Regiment 304 and Afrika-Bataillon 28.
He was captured in Zaghouan, Tunis. Final promotion to Oberstleutnant on January 1, 1944. Added a biography page of him! Stunning pink-piped visor cap for officers with all its original insignia and name tag. Diamond within with the maker Militäreffekten Mützenfabrikation Josef Weithmann Augsburg. Stunning condition with a few small damages at 1 place in the piping (photographed) and on the visior otherwise near mint! Condition as seen.
Original Polizei Tschako (Police Shako) for the Schutzpolizei which remains in very good condition! The green velvet remains in overall very good condition except for a few small (moth) damages near one of the side buttons. Black leather also in overall very good condition except for the typical wear and tear leather incurs after years. Inside maker marked with Erel Robert Lubstein, Berlin. Size marked 57 (larger size) and the leather of the liner inside is stamped 1938! Complete with concarde. Condition as seen.
