Hauptmann Ernst Graf von Strachwitz (22.12.1919 in Webling † 13.07.1998 in Vienna) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen kreuzes on November 26, 1944 as Hauptmann und Führer of the II. Bataillon/ Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 137 of the 2. Gebirgs-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
