Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Ernst Pirhofer. Obergefreiter Ernst Pirhofer (12.01.1922 in Meran † 18.02.1991 in Rabland) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on May 4, 1944 as Obergefreiter und Richtkanonier in the 7. Batterie/ Flak-Regiment 43.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
