Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Rudolf Smollich. Hauptmann Rudolf Smollich (03.09.1913 in Langendorf † 09.09.1998 in Wiesbaden) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on November 16, 1944 as Oberleutnant und Führer of the Füsilier-Bataillon 168 of the 168. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
