Hauptmann Friedrich-August von Michael (10.03.1917 in Groß Plasten † 20.07.2007) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Goldon March 7, 1942 with Infanterie-Regiment 172 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 10, 1945 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Bataillon/ Grenadier-Regiment 172 of the 75. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.

Infanterie-Division.
