Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Erich Lorenz. Oberst Erich Lorenz (31.08.1905 in Wattenscheid † 10.12.1984 in Bochum) earned the Ritterkreuz on November 14, 1943 as Majorund Kommandeur of the I. Bataillon/ Grenadier-Regiment 287and the Eichenlaub on May 4, 1944 as Oberstleutnantund Führer of Grenadier-Regiment 287 of the 96. Infanterie-Division. He earned the Nahkampfspange in Gold on March 12, 1945 as Oberst und Kommandeur of Grenadier-Regiment 287!
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
