Original Postwar Signature on a Wartime Postcard of Günter Vollmer. Hauptmann Günter Vollmer (15.05.1917 † 10.12.2004) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzeson April 20, 1943 as Oberleutnant und Führer of the 3. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 411 of the 122. Infanterie-Division. Edges were cut of the postcard.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
