Krupp-Germaniawerft Aktiengesellschaft Kiel-Gaarden issued 24 postcards of Kriegsmarine Knight’s Cross Holders. On the front, a facismile signature of the KC-Holder was added. A special booklet was also issued to glue in the postcards.

Kapitän zur See Hans-Rudolf Rösing (28.09.1905 † 16.12.2004) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzeson August 29, 1940 as Korvettenkapitän und Kommandant of U-48 and the Eichenlaub on December 31, 1944 as Kapitänleutnant und Kommandant of U-96.
Awarded for sinking 12 ships (with 60701 GRT) and damaging 1 more (with 5888 GRT) in just 2 patrols as the commander of U 48.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
