Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Gustav Rödel. Major Gustav Rödel (24.10.1915 † 06.02.1995) earned the Ritterkreuz on June 24, 1941 as Oberleutnant und Staffelkapitän of the 4. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 27 (after 20 earial victories), the Eichenlaub on June 20, 1943 as Major und Kommodore of the Jagdgeschwader 27 (awarded after 78 aerial victories).

Major Wilhelm Balthasar (02.02.1914 † 03.07.1941) earned the Ritterkreuz on June 14, 1940 as Hauptmann und Staffelkapitän of the 7. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 77 “HerzAs” and the Eichenlaub on July 2, 1941 as Hauptmann und Kommodore of the Jagdgeschwader 2 "Richthofen". He’s credited with 47 aerial victories! Good condition. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 77 “HerzAs”, the Eichenlaub on October 7, 1942 and the Schwertern on February 1, 1945 as Oberleutnant und Staffelkapitän of the 14. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 27. He's credited with 174 aerial victories! Good condition. Measuring: Postcardsize.

Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 27 after 49 aerial victories, the Eichenlaub on August 2, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Jagdgeschwader 27 after 84 aerial victories and the Schwertern on April 19, 1945 as Major und Kommodore of Jagdgeschwader 27 after 110 aerial victories. Overall Good condition except with album residue on the reverse. Motive is also unsharp but still a rare photograph from a Luftwaffe Ace with 114 Victories! Measuring: Postcardsize.
