Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Bernhard Jope. Major Bernhard Jope (10.05.1914 in Leipzig † 31.07.1995 in Königstein) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on December 30, 1940 as Oberleutnant und Flugzeugführer in the 2. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 40 and the Eichenlaub on March 24, 1944 as Major und Kommodore of the Kampfgeschwader 100.
Eichenlaub: Awarded for his successes as a Geschwader commander. His unit’s greatest achievement during this time was the sinking of the Italian battleship “Roma” on the 09.09.1943 using the new “Fritz-X” glide bombs. By the 15.09.1944 Hope had personally sunk/damaged 130000 GRT worth of enemy shipping, including a battleship. Since he took over the Geschwader on the 01.09.1943, his unit had sunk/damaged a total of 300000 GRT worth of shipping, sunk the battleship “Roma”, damaged another 4 battleships, and sunk/destroyed 8 cruisers and 22 destroyers.

Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photocopy of Heinrich Schlosser. Oberleutnant Heinrich Schlosser (01.08.1908 † 17.12.1990) earned the Ritterkreuz on September 18, 1941 as Oberleutnant und Flugzeugführer of the 2. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 40. Good condition. Measuring: Postcardsize.
Knight's Cross: Awarded after about 80 sorties, primarily against shipping targets near Norway and in the North Atlantic. He proved himself a successful pilot here, sinking several ships with a total of 55000 GRT.
Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photocopy of Rudi Schmidt. Major Rudi Schmidt (15.03.1914 † 23.02.2000) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on October 27, 1942 as Oberfeldwebel in the 4. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 40 and the Ritterkreuz on October 29, 1944 as Oberfeldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the 6. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 51 "Edelweiss". Good condition. Measuring: 8,5x12,3cm. Signature bit faded on the front. Comes with an extra signed letter.
